Deposits

A NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required for all spots both on the waiting list and standby list, no exceptions! This can be done through the payment link found on the PURCHASE page, through Cashapp, or at one of our catteries in person with cash. We are located in Baton Rouge, Fayette Alabama and Nashville!

Though our deposits are not refundable, they are TRANSFERRABLE for life should your situation change and you need to wait.

A deposit ensures your kitten will be properly taken care of with optimum nutrition, a sanitary environment, proper testing and around the clock interaction. It covers the expense of leasing a separate place just for our kittens and providing proper veterinary care, which contributes to their future health and overall well-being.

Unlike most breeders, we don't operate from our personal homes, and those are added expenses that would normally reflect in the price of the kitten, but they don't with us. We want to ensure our time is devoted to those who are seriously considering a kitten with us vs kitten shopping for the next cheapest thing. Your deposit on our waiting list fills that spot and we advertise it as reserved. The last thing we want are people who reserve kittens on impulse, then change their mind when the kitten is ready to go. The older they are, the harder it is to adopt them out, so we will not entertain offers and promises. 

We will ONLY refund deposits if there is negligence on our part or something happens to your kitten beyond our control. This includes serious illness or death, NOT delayed litters if the mother didn't conceive when we predicted she would. In the latter event, your deposit would roll over and you would be first in line on the next litter regardless of the spot you were previously. That's provided no one else has to be rolled over.

Please DO NOT put a deposit down if you have a specific time limit on receiving your kitten. In most instances, we can accurately predict a delivery date within a week or so, but there have been cases where the mom wasn't pregnant at all, and there's always the possibility of miscarriages even when the mother is in good health. These things happen in the craft, so please be aware your deposit would not be refunded unless your kitten is born, selected, and something were to happen after that. 

What's the difference between a waiting list and a standby list?

A waiting list GUARANTEES you a spot on a specific litter, in a specific place;  whereas, a standby deposit only guarantees you a spot on a specific litter IF someone rolls over their deposit from that litter to another. A standby deposit can be used on one litter or all litters if you're simply looking for a specific breed, not gender or color. ONCE a spot becomes available, you move from standby to waiting list.

This is almost necessary to have two lists due to how fast our kittens reserve because of our prices, so we are trying our best to accommodate everyone.
